Maybe I should sell advertising space on there. I got lotsa Z1 stickers. Would Jeff give me a contingency sponsorship? The Race Tech boys just gave me about $400 worth of stickers the other day too.

Tha't not a bridge; it's the vertical front landing gear support from a B2 stealth bomber; he better not let DOD know where he bought it. B)

It looks Great Josh, you did an excellent job painting the frame. Do you plan to assemble the engine and install it into the frame first, or assemble the rolling chassis then install the engine?

Well, since I don't have any able-bodied, male helpers, then I'm going to put the swingarm and frame together. Then I'll lay the engine sideways, and place the frame over. Once the frame/engine is home safe, then I'll finish assembling everything.

I have to remind myself constantly to be careful now. I have slung that frame around with reckless abandon for about 8 months now, but now I can't afford to scratch it all of the sudden.

I haven't done the long garage stare con cerveza in a while, so I guess this is something of a milestone for me.

What do you think, leave the forks in silver anodize or paint them black? I'm inclined to leave them as is since the anodizing is in such good shape. I would have left the swingarm the same, but it needed too much body work.

Need to see the wheels mounted first. Right now I think black might be a bit much. Having the motor in there the way you are going to run it would make a difference too. So...get those things mounted, post more pictures...more pictures...and then have a look.

I'd say leave them silver since your engine is black. If you're engine was natural, I'd lean toward black forks. My personal taste is to have some contrast, and you already have quite a bit of black. You're forks will give you some of that contrast imo. :silly:
