Yeah they have a good mix. Some crappy songs, but what radio station doesn't?
Nice to hear that someone is looking forward to me getting back! I dont have much left to do, just set my cams, connect a regulator, and make a rear exhaust mount. But then I'll be picking at it all winter, so I guess there'll be things to watch.
Is epoxy resin like Carbonite? Will Adam be temporarily blind and wake up in Jabbas palace?
I don't know about blindness, but I hear that he only walks in circles to the left, and that his arms itch. I think that his bike will possibly be more complicated than the Millenium Falcon. Lets just hope that the engine is a little more reliable.
Tyler, you mean to tell me you haven't read all 35-40 pages from my carbon fiber build threads?? For shame! I do walk in a perpetual left hand circle now, and my eyes do look in different directions, but it could be worse....I could be building a mini bike  Josh is right though, I did get a little off topic. Mostly because I ran into serious money issues for some of the hard parts I still need. It has become more of a distraction than I thought, thats for sure. I'm getting back on track a bit, and in the mean time Josh has gotten his ride together. Yeah, you're missing out on all the fun Tyler!

We must stay the course!
Adam, I'm just ribbing you a little about the CF project. I think it's awesome, and it might just make you some money in the future. I have already started to contemplate the fate of my Ninja. If I decide to keep her, then I may just make some CF fairing pieces. Who knows, the jury is way out on that one, but until you started your project I would have never considered it possible.
Has anyone seen the specs on the new ZX-10r? Wow, 197bhp, and 207bhp with the ram air effect! Traction control that works off of slip angle, ABS that isn't linked like the Honda system, and it's 22 lbs lighter than last years bike. That thing should be a rocket. Makes my aging 2004 model seem anemic, it only makes a claimed 184bhp with the ram air, and no semblance of traction control. More like traction lack of control. MSRP is $13,799 I can't pop for that right now.

i would like to take one of them new 10's and strip the fairing off and put one of those dual sport light wind deflector dealy's,dirt bike bars and build a custom sub frame where my wife isn't stuck up in the air a half a body above me.
then just ride the hair off the thing.
oh yeah,sounds like fun!

Off idle to 1/4 throttle is smooth, but a little flat. You can hold a throttle setting with no bucking or any evidence of leanness. I'm gonna start by leaning out on the pilot screws. Once I get those right, then I suspect I can go down one size on the pilot jets. I'll stick to one change at a time. Once you get past 1/4 it seems to pull real nice, so I'm guessing that the needles will stay on the 4th clip. Hopefully, I'll be ready to try some full throttle soon and sort out the main jets.
I'll try and post a new running video tomorrow in the daylight.
