Finally done and on the road. PICS was created by donthekawguy
I finally got it done and on the road again. I rode it to work and it's all good. I have a long group ride this Sunday so we'll see what happens.

Kawi GREEN...:woohoo:... Love it!

How amazing it is, here we are in our fifties plus, ok some of us anyways  , and we see this obnoxious green color we all learned to love and cherish as kids and we still get goose bumps reminiscing old memories...

Just have to love it! Way cool... B)

I'm more of a chrome guy but have seen a few bikes with black rims and they do grow on ya. Local racer did the black rim treatment along with light blue paint and at first, it didn't look that great but it does get better as you look. Green and black does jump out at you though. Really looks sharp. You did a great job. Always wonder how you guys come up with these schemes and then make them turn out so good. Some sound bad but they turn out absolutely beautiful once you see them. Looking at your bike, I can't put my finger on the exact thing that grabs you but the whole package just draws you in for more. Subtle but smacks you right in the face kinda thing. Job well done!

I too like the blacked out HW on the wheels. The only item a little out of place is the front fender. Still looks kick ass though.

An old friend remembered when mine was green. Walked in the garage this week and went awww... I liked the green. :(

Yeah I'm a little iffy on the front fender but the chrome one was a no go with the 18 inch wheel and I had that one laying around. I'm thinking maybe a gpz fender but it might be too square for the round body work.

Hell, looks killer as you have it!

Now if you feel the need to change anything...
Re-paint (gloss black) the header and exhaust, KYB or some progression air shocks on the back and buff out that swing arm and engine cases...

Outside of that leave her alone, ride her and show her off....;)

Shame the stock chrome unit wouldn't work on the 18". The Gpz will probably be the same for a 19".

Now you have me thinking what options are out there to maintain a little old school flavor on that new front end.

Still looks like a rider. Ride that booger. :)

The header is pretty bad so I think I'll blast it paint it and hang it on the wall being it is an original RC Engineering exhaust. I did clean the motor up a bit but I'll leave it until the total rebuild whenever that happens. The most pressing things are the forks and seat.
