The frame is raked... I think...by niagra race crafters...I have every reciept for every part/mod done to this bike....
the battery box and side cover are there I just need a proper battery....the one in it is from a 1100R-'84
and I agree the bike is cool lookin'...and a trip to ride...still ...

If it's in good shape keep it running. If it's in need of a complete rebuild do some more mods.

If I had it land in my lap I'd probably keep it running as is. Sounds like a nice list of upgrades...

Either way, I think you should toss that gawdawful fairing and let her ride it as is, then finish the blue 1000 like I know you want to.

No its a '76 900....maybe a ltd fender...the disks came as a kit....from somewhere I got the receipt for it here somewhere....
never did care for the ltd (burger bike....LOL)
I just rode it for about an hour...the fairing is actually growing on me....but the suspension sure isn't!
and don't even get me started on the tires ! front brakes are surpisingly strong...but the rear is almost none existent!
I dont know....I mean I have the busa to hotrod when I want to....but I am having flashbacks of big wobbles and tank slappers and flat tires....
I'm sure you remeber terry.
Not that that stopped anybody from going fast....its just so much ...I think safer is the word I am looking for....I know I can go way faster on the busa ...but I can stop way faster too...and turn better...ect ect.

I will leave this one as is for now...but we will see over the winter...
the one thing I love about this bike is the seat....its the most comfortable seat I have ever been on without it looking like a friggin couch!

See, this way when you place an order for parts to get HER ride up and running, you slip in a few bonus parts for yourself...

What she going to do, bitch about buying parts for her... Hell no way, as long as she thinks it's for her, no prob, spend away....

seriously....the bike doesnt need much...a front end( which I have) a swingarm and shock(which I have)
a triple tree /headlight bracket(yup got one)
and a set of wheels...need those
everything else is pretty much just wrench time and a little cromoly tube....

maybe I'll just drink beer this winter:woohoo:
