New project- Whoo hoo it lives!

I had to think for a minute before I remembered what an 84 KZ1100R1 looks like, they only sold those outside the US. I agree though that light blue and silver model was a good looking bike. I still don't think I'd like the riding position on that bike though, it looks to be about the same as my 83 750 L3 and I hate riding that bike as well. I'm planning to sell this bike anyway so as long as I still have my 650's I'll have something I like to ride.

Hopefully by the time Mid-Ohio gets here I will have already sold it. If not I'll bring it and you are more than welcome to ride the uncomfortable SOB. This one you won't even have to fix.:laugh:

I like the way this bike runs, it has so much low end torque that it is like riding automatic transmision bike, in that it doesn't seem to care what gear it is in you can just dial the throttle and it goes. What I really don't like is the ergonomics, the low handlebars suck. Even in the short distance I rode it I found myself looking forward to traffic lights so I could sit up straight for a few minutes. The front fork seals are shot so that doesn't help either but I don't see how the guys who ride sport bikes handle this riding position. I guess I'm getting old but I still like the riding position of a good old UJM.

did you put in the 135 mains? what pilot are you running?....just wondering.....keith
