My daily driver for 2009......1975 z1 900

I helped my buddy get a kz1000 shaft few weeks back and we are going thru it completely. We're having such a good time I asked to bring over one of my bikes that I bought and never got to working on or use much. I chose a '75 z1 I bought running years ago but its just been sitting ever sence. So far, I just gave it a good cleaning & wax. Better pics coming in the coming weeks.......

Well, was plugging away on the z1 Sunday. Got alot done.:) Put the rebuild oem petcock on, new fuel lines, added gas and she run great with no fuel leaks! Took the Yosh pipe off and put the Murray on cause I have a baffle for it. The bike had points so I replaced them with a Martek 440 ignition I had laying around. Sorry, no pics but will take some next time.

i really think it would look better with spoke wheels you should get rid of those nasty lesters that you have on there or at least the front one.

Thanks for making me jealous.

Yeah, I know what you mean about those nasty Yosh pipes. Best gotten rid of, in my book. Tell you what, I'll give you $5 and a cup of coffee for it, take that nuisance off your hands.

They are staying for sure....I personally like them. Really want to drill a pair of discs like a z1r and the factory right hand caliper.

   I MIGHT sell it but not close to $5. :P

i'm still thinking a spoke front would look better but besides that for sitting as long as it did it sure looks good
