i hear you there ....nothing grinds on ya worse than a deadline and last time i checked we do this stuff for fun...my fear is taking somthing apart and losing steam...my z-1 salvage/budget /rebuild is okay ...but...losing the want to go locate the whole pile and waiting on a cam-chain-guide from z-1 ent (this week) ...maybe this weekend...even though i wrote on each zip=lock bag what is what....i'm a veg and sure it will take two hours just to spread it on my bench and do a re-check.....gotta get some red-bulls for sat.....

Im shooting to have mine done for sturgis 09. Because im riding from chicago all the way there on it, im meeting donthekawguy, jordan, timebomb and a bunch of others out there. Im just waiting on parts for it. Once they get here i will dig in and make it happen. It's just a pain waiting on part's.

Got a smidge more done today.
Finished mounting my new inner fender to the frame. The extra at the top will be cut off and I plan on adding about a foot more back along the rear frame rails.
And I started making an oil catch can.
Go to my individual project thread for more pics and info.

looking good!which brings up a question thats been bouncing around in that space called my head for years! on the newer frontends are the triple trees themselves any stronger or is the extra strength coming mostly from larger fork tubes?in other words do the triple trees themselves flex?
