so are you selling the 750 motor or the bike...what are you putting the 1000 into?

Selling the whole KZ750. Comes with spare motor (in pieces though), wheels, suspension, and other bits.

I'm putting the KZ1000 motor into the other KZ750 frame that you see in the pics once I finally have the new bits fitted to it.

That should be interesting, like putting a 454 in a chevy luv truck, LOL. Do it to it. Can't wait to see more progress.

i bought a drag chassis last year that originally had a 750/810 alcohol motor in it it blew up so these guy's put a kz1100 engine that was converted over to chain drive, shaft drive motor very confusing i know. it did work out pretty good exccept for one small issue in order to pull the valve cover you have to drop the motor the j motor will be a bit taller than the 750 engine and i think but i haven't measured for sure but that the engine mounts are higher on the j motor then on the 750. not trying to sabotage your project but just trying to make you aware of potential problems.

Well,
I traded the KZ in the first pic for an NOS Dyna III electronic ignition (D32-1), Accel coils and wires, and a Supertrapp 4 into 1 exhaust. Probably lost money on the deal but these are things I needed and I wasn't going to do much with it anyway since I got the KZ1000J motor.

Also won a transmission cover on eBay too.

One step closer to lift off.......

Trading is good.

Is that all the parts you are going to need?

The only reason i bought my drag bike is because it had dyna coils and ignition, extended swingarm, and the Corbin seat.

That would have cost a few bucks if i had to buy all that seperately. Plus it was cheap.

Finally a bit of progress......test fitting a few parts.

Why, yes Officer. It is a 750.

New front end.

New back end.

And yes, for those of you in the warmer climates....that is a snowblower in the background.

Still have LOTS of work to do but at least its moving ahead....

Thanks much. With all of the hurdles and challenges that I've had to get this far, and that many more to go, I appreciate the feedback.
looking good tell me your gonna paint it green right lol.

I tossed that idea around quite a bit since I also have a green front fender but think that I may stick with the black and some reproduction decals. Just means more to paint but its too soon to really decide yet.

Legally it is. Its just had a heart transplant. Besides, I can have a lot of fun with the squids when they pull up beside me.

BTW, I must apologize to all of the guys with GarageMaHalls. I never realized how messy mine is till I looked at these pics again. :(
