Thanks guitargeek. I hope you guys are enjoying the build. Now I need some help. Where can I get a aftermarket tach? Something little, chrome and mechanical. I found one from jcwhitney but wanted to see some options. When I mounted the stock gauges, they looked awful. I can't put them back on there! I can live without a speedo if I have a tach. Here is a camera phone pic with the headlight...

Well everybody I got the paint done! I am not going to post a picture until I get a really good one. She is RED, RED, RED. Gonna do up some grafix for it as well. I think that it is really sharp and I think you will agree. Stay tuned!B)

Check it out guys. I haven't had a ton of time to work on it because my wife is in the hospital with a baby that is trying to come too soon. But it is turning out just like I had imagined it in my brain... :woohoo:

Turned out pretty good man, would be even better if the twins didnt have such massive side covers.

I really don't mind the look of the side covers. Although I am not sure how they will look with the K&N's stuffed in there. I wonder if any other covers would fit the stock mounts? I have had three 750 twins so far, and really like them. They are not near as fast as a 750 four, or even a 650 four, but they are easy to work on. I had a CB750 and hated four carbs! And have you ever noticed that when you have a four cylinder, its ALWAYS one of the center carbs thats having a attitude promblem.... Anyway the early KZ750 twins have the spoked wheels instead of mags which is good, and lot's of potential in a bike that a lot of people overlook. I like the way this one is turning out. A good friend of mine does upolstry for a living, and he will be getting the seat soon. Need to work up a foam pad covered in black leather or vinyl. Then I need a new Mac pipe, a tach and some other stuff. I am going to do some mild grafix as well that you will see soon....
