Now I just need to give the clear a week to harden up, then I can wet sand to 2000 grit, and buff and wax it.
In the meantime, I just gotta keep from spilling it again.:woohoo:

Ya did a nice job on her. I got to say I am very impressed. I guess because of the avatar I was expecting squeeze bulb horns and streamers from the handlebars. Great job with the JB. They ought to hire you as a demonstraiter/spokesman. I like the color and the tailwork too. Yes.... no more crash designing courses would be a good thing!

Still learning (at my usual glacial speed) so here's another go at the pic -- but still don't see the bulb horn.
But Pee Wee and Pee Wee's Big Adventure remain all time faves. And btw, how many academy awards did it receive?
Oh yeah ... almost forgot to mention -- like the new avatar okay (but it sux in comparison).

I never saw the movie. My loss.... but looking at the picture of the bike again I just wonder...... was that done before or after Vinny left the show?

Looks great. Good job with the paint. I am not sure I would be patient enough to try 3 times. I am glad you did though.

Just painted the front wheel with gloss black. I am testing to see how dinged up it gets with normal riding and road debris.
I want to wait to clear coat it, depending on how badly it takes damage. If I need to touch it up all of the time then I would rather not need to worry about a clear cote.
I'm gonna go get some pics.

Boy that front tire is dirty.
I am going to have get some soap for that.
I also got a new back tire. The tire that was put on by the prior owner was a bigger size. I put the original size back on again and am happy with it. It is a little taller circumferencially which drops the rpm at speed. and it is not as wide.

She looks great!
I'm thinking of going to a stock size 120 rear tire from my current 130 when the time comes to replace it.
Another member went back to a 120 and liked it.
I asked a Kawi mechanic his oppinion, and he said the bike would handle better with a 120.
Kawi engineers thought the same.
