For all your air/liquid cooled GPZ fun!
I'm air cooled again! Woot! was created by typhoon
Bought this today:
Needs battery, has an electrical fault affecting one coil, needs paint on the front mudguard, but apart from that it's tight, very tight! One of teh quietest and smoothest Z's I've heard.
I'm excited!
Regards, Andrew.

That's nice! Tell us about the bike...what year?...original paint?...it is amazing the differences in Mother Kaws' marketing strategies on either side of the pond.

The bike is original, even the paint and two into two exhaust. Only thing that's been modified is the seat.
The guy says it's an 84 model Z750, but I believe that they stopped seling Z's in Australia in 82, they were replaced with the GT and GPz lines. So it's either an import or old stock sitting on the showroom floor maybe?
The paint is great except the front guard and an odd chip here and there, it looks to be a very dark blue metallic.
It is a two owner bike, the guy bought it with 28k kms on it and it now has 90k kms. Has receipts for cam chain, tensioner, regular tune ups including valve adjustments etc. Been VERY well looked after.
Regards, Andrew.

Andrew, is that an L model? They were made through 1987 (but last imported to North America (Canada) in 1984)...the 1984 L3 model (Canada) had a much different paint scheme.

More pick for your droolage:
As for the bike on the wal in the garage, that was at the seller's house. Maybe a Ninja drag bike? Looks to be a stressed member engine setup to me.
Regards, Andrew.

Well, she's been registered and on teh road for about 3 weeks now, running flawlessly with a new Dyna ignition (it was cheaper than buying a new pickup coil!). Hasn't blown a single puff of smoke, and is pretty rattle free for one of these bikes.
Here's a nice photo:
Regards, Andrew.
