GPz1100 project update... was created by Fossil
A full weekend of work, and I was able to get a fair bit done. My electrical system went phhtt on sunday, main culprit being the left bar switchgear acting up. Sorted that out tonight and found a cooked relay, still might need a starter too, it's cranking so slow.
What's left, well I discovered I need to machine a bit off the ZX9 calipers' mounting faces to move them outboard about 1, maybe 1.5mm - ZX9 wheel/brakes and GSXR forks - almost a bolt together, but not quite.
Looks like I will have to trim a bit off the inside of the drive side eccentric adjuster and like amount off the swingarm to move the wheel over to centre it, after that, I need a spacer and a custom caliper bracket.
There's a message on the machine that my ZZR1100 front sprocket is in, so I will be picking that up tomorrow. Really, just some fiddlin' around left, but not going to rush it.
Hmmm, do you think the colours clash?
Paint eventually, satin black to match the fender with a stock sticker/stripe kit.

where's the flyscreen from?

I'm gonna make something similar.. but if it wasn't too much, I'd just buy it.

Ontario Cycle Salvage had a few made up a coupla years ago. I was rootin' around there for bits and pieces and found the last one behind the counter. It's from a mold taken off a Buell Cyclone flyscreen.

GPZ's look soooo tough with modern suspension and wheels. Great work.

Awesome - okay, thanks! I should give 'em a call, and see if they made any more.

Did you use the Zx speedo drive? Or did you just skip it and make a spacer? Looks good, though.
