Since we have wandered off the topic, I had 2 RD350s, a 74 and a 73. Absolute blast to ride, like a bullet off the line if you could keep the front end down. I remember a magazine article called them a "pocket rocket".

Owner of the little Yamaha smoker in the CL ad said to come on by. So I'm gonna ride over there next week and check it out. I can't buy it but I want to take a look just to see it.

Wish I could find a 1976 KZ900 with 5,000 miles in that condition for $2,500!

Ya....we hijacked the thread....but hey....the OP abandoned it so oh well. :P

No worries! I've hijacked quite a few threads in my day...

I bought my '76 KZ900 with 15k miles on it for $1500... They're out there, just never stop looking! I had to drive from California back to Pennsylvania to pick it up, but it was definitely worth it in my opinion.

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

I thought that might get your attention. ;) What part of Houston are you in? Weathers not too bad today is it....I'm really wanting to jump on the bike right now!

Ya...deals can be found....but KZ's go quick! They are definitely desirable right now. I bought my '77 1000LTD with 10,300 miles for $1,600. It needed plenty of work, it was running but just barely has some right side damage from a fall in a garage years ago, missing parts...but still a very good deal I think.
