Welcome Graeme! We call them KZ's, you call them Z's, you say tomato, we say tomato. Jeez, you wish you were riding in North America...we all wish we were riding in the Land of Oz. There has to be some way to swap for a while...

I've had the Z650 for about 3 weeks

I got it for my L's/P's as we have LAMs here in NSW.
I first learned to ride a bike at 14 (wow, that's 10 years ago now!) on a Honda XL185S but since we moved from the country out to "The City" (I guess Wollongong could be classified as a city... sorta) I haven't been on one up until now.
I've noticed you don't forget all that much though, just lose a little confidence which comes back pretty quickly.

The Z is currently getting a few little things fixed up for rego but I can't wait to get out there on it!

Also good to hear from another Aussie! (shame about the world cup though! Damn refs ruining all our games!)
