Newbie

Hello,

I'm from SE Iowa and have been riding since about 10. I'm 53 now and still enjoy the sport. I've owned several dirtbikes but sold my KLX 300 a couple years ago and now just sportride. I currently have a 96 ZX-11 which I purchased new and have logged 78K on it. The only updates to it has been the race tech suspension front/rear which really helped allot. My wife loves to ride also and we lived in central CA for 5 years which was awesome. I also have a 08 1098 which I've always wanted a light flickable bike and enjoy doing trackdays when possible. And then I have my baby! 76 KZ900LTD which I purchased new and now am thinking of selling since it just sets in the garage with bed sheets over it year after year.

I just joined and am looking at a '78 kz650. Ive looked online and it looks like everyone that had one loves em.
Here is the one im looking at

It has about 30-40xxx miles on it (new speedo doesnt have odometer), needs new fork seals and tires are ok but need to be replaced soon.
Anyone have any input? what should I offer him for it?

:ohmy: PACABADA, think long and hard about selling the first and finest LTD ever built. You have a bike that only very few posess,plus you're the original owner which makes the bike even more valuable. Please do some research and discover the gem that you own, and you'll also discover other Kaw owners in your area that you can meet with and perhaps show that fine piece off to. If you sell, I can guarantee you, you will regret it.

Wow!! That is VERY NICE!!
If you other guys did not open this file up, DO IT.
Is it original paint? If it is, it's not even sun faded.
I see you painted the engine black.
Offer it up to Japan, to one of them importers.
$500 or $600 to ship. Probally get $10,000 overseas!

Just my opinion.

I know it is not factory original but very nice job of re-doing it!
