Here is a new tachometer cable on Ebay or you could buy it locally for a few dollars more. On RonAyers.com, it goes for $22.14.

I ordered a new tach cable today. Im ready to have this thing finished and ready to ride to school. Does anyone know if its possible to make the suspension a little bit stiffer? Im 6'6" and 300Lbs. So it rides a little low with me on it.

If not already done, would check rear shocks' "pre-load" adjustments, as they may now be in a too soft position.
There are usually 5 different settings, ranging from softest minimum pre-load to stiffest maximum pre-load.
Good Fortune!

Those rear shocks are a little too soft for us big guys. You can turn the top adjustment collar to #4 and adjust the bottom sleeve to put more pre-load on the spring. Still, mine is soft and I am only 250 lbs.

They were turned down to 2. I turned them up to 4 and that seems to have helped a lot.

You might consider taking the speedometor cable loose and lubricating the inner cable on it so it won't break like the tach cable. Let us know if you need any more help.

Well its been a couple of weeks and I havn't had much trouble with it. I have ordered new tires and they should come in this week. My roomate brought his Bandit 1200 up and I drove it. Of course Im drooling over it now haha. Does anyone know if it is possible to take the baffles out of the exhaust? Not really a big deal, but I would like the bike to be a little louder.
