I've had my Z1B for 4 yrs now & I had a 1976 Z900 in the '70's with a string of later model Kawasakis after that: Z1R MKII, GPZ1100, GPZ900 & Harleys for 20+ yrs. I ride with a group of mates around Victoria. Great riding and great scenery.
This site has heaps of technical articles & as I do most of the work myself I'll be a regular visitor.

Welcome Michael from halfway around the world in Houston, Texas! That's a beautiful bike you have there. Got any more pictures? How often do you see other Z's in Australia?

I'm a lapsed member of the Z Owners Club. Not enough rides for me as I get out with my brother every weekend. He's got 7 bikes with 5 of them all from the '70's: he's got a Z1 and Z1B, 2 other friends have Z1's and another with a Z1B. always been very popular bikes here and you see some but not many with standard pipes. My pipes are from Doremi in Japan-supposedly made the original pipes for Kawasaki.
Heavy rain right across Oz at the moment. Just got back from a 3 day ride with 10 mates & got back just in time to beat the rain.

I read about the drought(little to no rain),the fires, and now floods, what's next? A plauge of locusts?

Blaim it on global warming?
