Hello , jus bought this 76 kz 900 a few months ago it had ben sittn for 15 yrs . built lots of hot rods jus never a two wheeled one . they are a lt cheaper than the four wheeled ones .... had the motor rebuilt crank welded new guides new valves 420 cams back cut gears ... need carbs heres a pic c what u u think would love the input..

What size motor did you go to and how much porting did you do on the head? .420 cams need quite a bit of flow to be usable.

1197 kit was in it when i got it just refreshed it mild heaqhead work the cams were in it also , the guy who freshend it up for me said they are a lil on the big side for the street but it will be a fun ride.... we shall see

This bike came with two boxes off parts but the carbs that were in the box are 26's an two small so im going with 33 smooth bores for now c how that works out .. this winter gonna do some more changes want to ride before snow flys .:laugh:

33's will work just fine i'm putting a set on my 1197 street / drag bike. whats the wheelbase of your bike
