Old KX1000 update.

Got 'er runnin' pretty good. I think @ this point it just needs some miles put on it. I've been through the carbs 3 times cleaning out crap. the tank petcock,changed the oil,got to fix the exhaust leak @ the head/header primary tube(maybe a hole in it). Needs tires. I'll post new pics. I cleaned it up and applied a 20' paint-job today while I cooked a slab-o-spare ribs on the hickory. Looks a lot better.Lots of clear-coat may even cover my lack of patience for paint prep work. Black w/blue metal flakes.

Doesn't run bad but I think I'll sell it...Don't like the feel of it very much...It's on craigslist St.louis If there are any interested parties.

O-k...rode it again and decided to keep it. Wife says I'm bi-polar...lol...I just get frustrated that I don't have the cash to finish all my projects and start selling crap. I just need to be more patient and work at it slowly. It'll come. Still needs carbs but I found a parts bike cheap w/the title I need.....Good stuff.
