New from South Dakota

I don't know much, but that's not going to stop me from making this bike look and run like it's new.

Good eyes, she's got 4 inch overs.
It's amazing what a painted frame, swing arm, and some new turn signals with stems will do for looks. I had to replace the stator cover as well. I started restoring the bike 3 years ago and got as far as the frame, my daughter played with my parts while the frame was being painted. I didn't know what went were. Shoved the pieces in the corner of the garage and forgot about it.
3 years later found part diagrams on Kawasaki's web site, and here we are. She runs okay, plugs keep fouling. Gonna start with the carbs and work my way down. As I said before, I don't know much.
This is almost my first bike. My first bike was a Yamaha 400. Paid $200, spent $200 to get it running. Rode it for 3 weeks, got bored with it, sold it for $400.
Used that money to pick up this one. This has been a real learning experience, and I'm loving every minute of it.
