Hey all. My lastest purchase has brought me here in search of info, it's an 83 KZ750L3. She's a basket case and I intend to build it up slowly...CR carbs, 810 kit etc.

Been a KZ guy for a long time, my first one was a 77 KZ650 way back in 1990. I have 3 KZ750's at the moment ( 2 Twins and now the L3 ) as well as a GPz550 and a Suzuki T500. Looking forward to getting involved on the forum.

Pic of my daily rider 76 KZ750B1, I did quite a bit to it last year...KZ1000 dual disk setup, 750 Zephry shocks, clubmans, new skins, rebuilt the carbs, tune up etc. I also have a bobber/fighter project 84 KZ750K2.

Thanks guy's for the welcome. And yes I have motorcycle ADD. I'd be up for a ride later in the season for sure, recovering from shoulder surgery still but should be good to go by mid summer I hope.

Hey Capt, you going to be at the Paris swapmeet, fathersday weekend ? I'll be there vending as long as I can get a hand here loading up Thursday night. If not I'll be wandering around there buying more stuff I dont need LOL.

Hey, I seem to have bought your old KZ750L, small world indeed. Out of curiosity, do you happen to have any left over parts from your build, I'm looking for a few bits n' pieces.

If you dont mind I'd like to pop over for a visit sometime to check out your project, Donny was telling me a bit about it, and I've scanned through your build thread here just now.....very nice.

I'm hoping to be there, a friend of mine attends it regularly so I'll probably make an appearance with him.

Sure. give me a call (I'll PM you my number).
The build has come to a grinding halt because of my lack of fabrication/mechanical skills. Not sure what to do about it-trying to figure out an economical path forward.

I don't think I have anything left over that didn't go with the bike to Don. I'll check though.
