Thanks! Yes, I rode my best wheelies on the 650. Like to slip the clutch at about 25mph, and she comes up nice and smooth. Could always get two gears sometimes three. Hopefully I can do the same with this one.
Welcome abroad. Love the pix, 650's do great wheelies don't they.

I couldn't just throttle it up. Learned on the KZ, by rolling 15-20mph, fully disengaging the clutch, rev to 5-6k, and dump the clutch. That was kind of a ball-buster, and came up too fast, and therefore not very controllable. But once I got the feel of slipping the clutch, it was a whole new world:)
Yeah baby... Right On!
Wasn't it just recent when it was mentioned a stock KZ couldn't pull wheelies easily... Looks to me like you had no problems accomplishing...
Welcome...

I'm a little late, but I like your new 650, if mine had been in that condition when I got her I wouldn't be modding like crazy as I am now.

Nice! Welcome aboard and enjoy getting reacquainted with the '650.
As for pulling a wheelie, I'm here to tell that a stock KL250 will stand it right up on the taillight! :S
