Great looking find and first bike! I just put on a set of Conti GO! Tires on my KZ. Didn't get to ride much yet due to breaking off a fork axle clamp bolt on install of said tires. Will get that sorted out. I just wanted to mention that these tires replace the original mold stamped date 1976 tires. They looked new but we all know what riding on old tires can be like, yes like riding on a hockey puc. These Contis come in the right sizes: 3.25" x 19" Front and 4.00" x 18" Rear. They have a modern tread design and sticky rubber. They are reasonable on price too. I like the fact that the dimensions are in standard.

Also, you might check your rear wheel alignment while you are looking at bearings and tires.
