Re: Streetfighter Project

The rear sub-frame is now off and ready for the aprilia to be welded up, but, still cant work out how to transfer my photos from my camera to the site. Kano has helped a lot with the last few but cant keep buggin him about it as its not right. Will work it out soon and keep you all up to date.
My first mistake has been to cut the rear subframe off before workin out how to mount the swingframe shock, and I have since realised that one third of the sub-frame would have supported half of the brackets needing much less fabriction.
But, hell, thats half the fun. Working out what goes where and how to do it, as many say, you learn by your mistakes and Im sure Ill make a few. Its all in how I correct them I suppose. This is my first home made streetfighter so I am pretty sure it will all come out right in the end. Just need to sort out the photo issue!
Cheers for the support

I post my pix on
www.photobucket.com
and just copy and paste the "IMG" line. For more than one pic I put the group on a temp notepad to line them up and paste the group.
I don't the sub frame removal will be a problem. My mono-shock mounts are all on the front half of the frame.

P.S. add your bike model year and mods in your signature. It well help with advice.

Click on the first link I think?
" s648.photobucket.com/albums/uu204/Sheffi...urrent=motorbike.jpg "
I have had to halt the build until the front seat is delivered so i can fit the subframe in the right place.
Will try to find out how to do photos in a better way this weekend, but I have tried the many ways ppl have told me to do it and it just simply wont bloody work :S
