Carbs are clean and bike is running

Well my day started out rough. First I had 2 floats that were sticking and gas was leaking out a few holes. Got that fixed then realized that a couple of spark plugs were bad. Got them fixed then finally we got it all together other than the airbox hoses that are coming next week. Without the hoses I took it for a ride down the road and back and it seem to run fine. Some minor adjustments still to be made after the hoses get put on. but I'm a happy man now that it runs. Now all I need is plates insurance and decent weather.:woohoo:

Isn't it a pleasure when they run right? Congratulations!

Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.

Run a can of Seafoam or Berrymans B12 Chemtool once in a while to keep the small fuel passages open in the carbs.

www.seafoamsales.com is the website for seafoam. It can be purchased at most auto parts stores or at boating supply places.

Plates are on, bike is insured, and airbox hoses are installed. 50 degrees, 25 mph winds, cold as hell going "65" mph down the road. Did not care cause my bike is running and running great I might add. Yeah a new riding season on a bike that will hopefully be problem free for years to come. I might be the happiest guy in Galva, Illinois right now. If only it was 75 degrees and no wind, the wife and I would be riding all day.B)
