Hello from North Dakota!

Hello to everyone!
I've always liked Kawasaki's since I've been 16 yrs old.
In high school, me and my friends all had Kawasaki Tripples. I had a 1973 S1 250, stock gold paint, and faster than any h---a 350 on the road! Wish I still had it, wish I still had all of the bikes that I've owned!
I've owned a few,

1980 kz 750 twin
1987 kz 100 police
2006 klr 650
2006 ZG 1000 Concours
I still have the Connie, and the 750 twin (needs fix up)

Welcome to KZR I had the Suzuki triples growing up. I never had the money when a Kaw was for sale.

:ohmy: :woohoo: !!! As we speak i am about 8 miles from volga, South Dakota! I have my machine work done in volga now as i am going to school here at SDSU in brookings
and my usual machine shop is about 2 hours away now.
Where did you work there, cause there is only a few businesses in the whole town?

Yep, not much for trees around here, you surely can see for miles. In a sense that's good, because when you are driving, a deer can't pop out on the road and supprise you so easily, it still happens though, pheasents are all over the road, morning+evening.
I'm in New Leipzig, ND for the last 3 yrs. Used to live in Mandan for ten years, and my wife and I decided to look for a house to own, so we ended up down here in a much better quality house for the $. We searched all over the state for the best house for the $.
As I'm a semi-retired auto tech for the last 25yrs, and decided to learn to drive semi (hopefully own my own truck+business) That's been put on hold for a while, so now my wife works, and really enjoys her job, I get to sit for a while. I take care of the house and pets and have been promoted to backyard mechanic out of my one car garage! :laugh:
I'll fix and flip a car, bike, boat ect. or go hunting+fishing.
But I'm keeping my connie!

ive hauled back a lot of vintage tin from up there around the reservations

Tons of stuff, free advertiseing. Lots of motorcycles too.
