I've been thinking about your comment -- I think part of why I bought this bike is that my very first bike ever, at 15, then all through high school and college, was a 1975 Kawasaki 2-stroke 125cc enduro. Originally my dad's bike, he made it my 16th birthday present (forever cementing him in my mind as 'best dad ever' and forgiving any and all shortcomings forever). I wrecked once too often and sold it. Among the worst decisions I've ever made. Sure it was impractical on the road, buzzy, stank, made you stink like burning oil and gas. But I sure miss all of that. Thank God there's a minor head gasket leak on the KZ, so I've returned to the burning oil smell.

I love my 650, but still have a thing for the 550's. Would love to get one as a second KZ!

welome great buy awesome machine good luck with it I think the 550 motors came from old school GP racing but I am not sure anyways tons of power in those little engines
