My stock 900 is plenty fast for me. But if you want to muscle it up, you could go with a kit from a company like APE.

A 1075 kit should still be steetable, cost about $800.
You'll have to get rid of the 26mm carbs and go with something larger.

My 76 has 95k on the odometer. It needs fuel lines and a petcock rebuild, but I may just take everyone's advice and try to start it BEFORE a rebuild.

$800 is much better than going out and buying a used ZRX1200 or a new ZX14. I see $4500 for beautiful rebuilds from RedlineCycle. That is a bargain, to have a KZ900 better than new.

I just looked at KZzone.com. Wow, cool site.
