66 is for born in 1966. Guess bying my first bike at this age is kind of a 40-year crisis :lol:

Hi RRRR - Actually I believe the seat is original, except it is missing the strop across. Or was it something else you saw
Your bikes seat probably has the original seat pan, but the vinyl seat cover itself appears to have been replaced at one time. The orignal covers had a faux stitched pattern in the seating area and piping near the back, and I believe the sides as well.
