Headstock Replacement Decal Source was created by daveo
I've repainted my frame and would like a duplicate headstock decal made for it.
Any recommendations?

Davo i've used Rick Brett for my replacements. He always sends two, in case you don't get it right the first time. You can find him on ebay. Just type in "Kawasaki VIN Decal" and you'll see his products show up. All seem to be priced at 29.99usd. You have to contact him to get the correct vin printed on them.

I also recommend Rick Brett. After he made a new decal for the 77' KZ 1000 LTD he made a set for the 78' KL 250.

What is unusual about this sticker compared with other Kawasaki models?

The one You have Daveo, includes all that tire data. None of the earlier ones had any of that. Earlier ones had a separate decal somewhere, data specific to model. I've never had one made by Rick for something that new. Have you run into unavailability?

I think Kidkawie, a member here also makes the headstock sticker.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Rick has been doing mine for the last14 years, should not be any problem for him to do yours if he has a photo. On my early 73 Z1(build 10/72) he got the sticker wrong as he spelled everything correctly however on the original factory sticker Kawasaki had misspelled several of the words on the stickers.

I have a 1978 KZ1000A2 frame with tire data on the head decal, yet my 1977 KZ1000A1 head decal does not include tire data.

Sprayed adhesive on the back and stuck it...good enough.
