That's a really cool seat, and the price is right too, but I'm afraid it won't fit my 1976 kz900. The description says it's only for 1973-75 zs.

Yes, that's a cool seat! I wish they were out 5 years ago, I would have bought one! That seat will fit your 76 KZ900, just that the mounting latch won't be the same. Maybe they have both sets of holes drilled??

But I had one custom made for my 76 KZ. I paid $150 for this seat 5 years ago. 1 of a kind in the world! It is priceless to me!

yes, less foam than the stock "buckboard" seat
