I like all of the tanks but the tailpiece with color just doesn't look right to my eye. kinda distracts from the overall look. try it with just black or with some other shape. but that is just my 2 cents

Yeah I'm not so sure about the tailpiece either. Maybe just the black would look better I will try that. And yes I am still kicking around redoing the black with flat black stripes.;)

Can you photoshop one with gloss black, and your designs in satin black, then vice-versa? I think the character of your machine would be preserved in variations of black, using your designs above and varying the textures from flat, to satin, to gloss in some combo. I don't have photo shop, so i don't know what's possible, I have to draw all my concepts in photoimpressions with brushes, and retouching tools.

I'd say option 3, only with the tail color running paralell to the ground.

However, ronboskz650sr's idea would look absoloutly awesome. Me like black...

BTW,
What photoshop are you using?

Here's mine with the larger surfaces flatted out and the gloss still on the curved areas and edges..very subtle effect.
And here's before the flat..

And here's one with theflat on the edges...more reflections in the middle, very subtle shange from gloss...

I like the subtle, on purpose look of different blacks in a pattern.

I like the green, but go for an obnoxious neon Kawasaki Racing Green.
