ideas for my new paint (when this bike ever gets done lol)

For my "KZX" I was thinking about going all black at first, then I really liked the look of some racing stripes, so I decided on all black with kawasaki green stripes, so then I got the idea of painting my frame the same colour green. what are everyones opinoins on the green frame? too much, or something that really stands out and looks nice?

ive been wondering what dark green like kawasaki used in mid 70s on 900s-1000s would look like on a frame and bodywork with a bunch of chrome and polished aluminum would look like myself.:whistle: ive had every other comination except that one!

I was actually thinking of the new ninja green, like this:

how about a slightly darker green frame,and just a little bit lighter green on bodywork?

I dont know, I thought that matching the racing stripes on the tank/tail to the frame would look good

if you can post pics of an angle that would show the frame and where you want stripes i can photo chop it in the morning when i get off work

My bike is in pieces, but this pic (HenryJ's bike) has the same style of stripes, just the wrong (for me) colour

I say go for it. My frame used to be white, when it was a lot of people thought it was a custom frame.

IMO for a rider, the frame is best left black. Dirt doesn't show well which leaves more time for riding and messing around with technical stuff.

How about a flat black frame and a single wide stripe along the top. Black, light green stripe, candy red with pearl white stripe, or John Deere green with a John Deere yellow stripe!

I'd really like to see the John Deere green/yellow combo.

Make the top stripe somewhere between half again to twice as wide as the overall width of the two stripes. Actual width will depend on colors and contrast but idea is for the eye to see a balance(as opposed to measured with a scale balance).
