Before and after pics

I finally got my bike back together . Sadly enough it still has some other issues that need to be worked out before I can really take her out and give her a right good flogging .

Moved the rear fender inward 4 inches . Resprayed the badges and added some new color to them . Along with the new bars I am finally starting to love the way it looks . If only it would run that way !!!

Looks great! Is that matte black paint? Cool! Nice job. Would like to see some more shots of it in the light.

I've sworn a zippered lip on repaints, so no bad words. Looks great, but looked great before too. I'd have left it alone. Who would have guessed? I'll just say the original paint held a darn good look, at least from a distance for a 25 yr old motorcycle. Do you think the repaint will last 25 yrs? 25 months? I doubt. OK no bad words, best of luck and enjoy what you have.

If you could have seen the tank before I started I think there would have been a little difference in opinion . The tank looked like it had been in a golf ball storm with a chance of gravel . Plus while repairing a few things I accidentally knocked the tank off the bench and damn near destroyed it . Oh well thats why I still do body work and paint for fun so I have something to do when I get bored . As for longevity its the same formula used to paint all of the new black denim Harleys so I would hope it lasts at least a year . But if not I stll have enought o paint the bike at least 4 more times . ( It pays to have connections at the paint supply stores anymore ) I will hopefully have some better pics of it outside in the daytime but my camera doesnt like me so .......... Anyhow thanks for the compliments
