Brake light, neutral light and horn all stopped working at the same time. Can’t seem to find the cause. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Where in the world are you Keith, I will look at a wiring diagram later if I get time but it would help to know if it a US or European build spec as the wiring isn't the same

Check the 20 Amp fuse in the fuse holder.

OK two questions
  • Do you have ignition voltage at the two 10amp fuses (green circle) if yes what is the voltage ?
  • Do you have ignition voltage at the Brown wire going into the regulator/rectifier (other green circle) if yes what is the voltage ?
If the answer to both the above questions is no check the connector on the standalone brown wire at the ign switch (red circle)

You will find the bullet connector Wookie58 circled in the headlight bucket. Your bike wiring very similar to mine.

If you look closer into the wiring diagram, you will see that the white wire (20 Amp fuse) will power the brown and yellow wire in the ignition "ON" position.

That is correct but in that case there would be no ignition circuit which isn't the fault that has been raised, this is also why I asked him to confirm no power at the RR and the 10amp fuses
The area I have highlighted would only show an obvious effect on the faults described (although it wouldn't charge the battery and some other lighting wouldn't work)

Thanks Wookie for your assistance. I had a blown fuse for the horn//ignition. Bad connection for neutral light. Now I’m not getting any spark to the plugs. Starter is turning but won’t crank. I have to check the coils I guess. Is there a chance that the points are causing it not not get fire? I’m at a loss. Any ideas?
thanks in advance

A couple of questions
Was it starting when you first posted your problem ?
Which fuse was blown ?
Where was the connection problem for the neutral light ?
Have you checked that you haven't disturbed something doing the work you have done ?
