No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration$21 (plus tax maybe) for 10 plugs is a pretty fair deal.

These are the original W24ES version, no U which isn't critical.  This seller also has 22's which are a little hotter.  Equal to NGK B8ES.

As most of you guys know NGK has discontinued the B8ES plugs so switching to ND seems like a good option.

I've bought from them twice before. I just emailed him yesterday about a break shipping 2 boxes to Canada. Sadly, no breaks, $56.85 for shipping alone! Once tha border opens, I'll have a couple of boxes shipped to my box in Montana for $10 shipping.

On the NGK web page it shows that BR8ES should be used as a replacement.
Does the resistor in this spark plug create any issue any issue?

I'm not sure but don't think it's a major issue.  Some KZ's use resistor plugs but generally speaking it's not advised to use more than one resistive element in the chain: plug wires, cap, or plug.

With all the attention this thread will get, I got nervous. I went ahead and ordered a couple of boxes to Montana and will pick them up when possible.

I ordered some late last night. This morning - roughly 12 hours after placing the order - I received an email update with a tracking number.

Even though I'm not in a hurry, it was nice to see that level of customer service.

I have used BR8ES, bike runs fine, no difference.

We'd be interested in seeing the opinions of members who receive plugs from the vendor above as to if they believe the plugs are genuine.  Just like the infamous NGK fakes, there's a risk counterfeit ND items.

I have bought from them before and have some on hand. My problem is they aren't available locally, so I can't compare to a "genuine" plug. I went through the "tests" in the link and there are no obvious red lights. Most of the plugs in the link are iridium plugs, so they look quite different, ie no chip on the ground electrode. They say Made in Japan on the box and the material is consistent. I think they are real and have had good service from them. I have had 2 in a box of 10 come with corrosion on the gasket.

Strange, in Europe the NGK B8ES are normal available at the official dealers

When we were looking for counterfeit plug ID info it seemed all we could find was for iridium plugs.  This morning we found the image below from the 2020 ND catalog.  It shows conventional plugs, but lacks a little detail.  There are a few youtube vids purporting to compare fakes vs genuine, but we've not watched any of them.

I'm amazed that the B8ES plug is still around after all these decades.  I have a half dozen or so on hand, and won't be throwing used ones away until they start to deteriorate on the electrode.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
