Randomly idles at low rpms, dies, engine sputtering kz750 b-4 1976

Hello, I'm a younger guy and I only recently got my kz750 b4. I can't say I'm as technically savvy as you all, but here's my issue.
The bike runs great most of the time, but recently blew two fuses, the main 20a, and a 10a, I fixed that and replaced those and the bike was running again.
Now, I have an issue ( before and after the fuses blew). The bike starts up just fine with full choke as it is intended, and seems to run alright. The engine sputters a lot and if I grab the throttle suddenly sometimes it sort of counter reacts. You grab the throttle and it almost dies, and instead of roaring it actually goes quiet like something didn't catch.

In addition to this, the bike will idle perfectly normal for a period of about 15 minutes, and then the rpms start to drop. It gets to a point where I have to keep throttle up any time I pull the clutch lever in, because the rpms will drop below 1000 (1000 is normal for this bike) and die. when it does die mid-ride, I'm able to start it again with ease, but it happens again shortly later. I still ride the bike, despite this annoyance. The oil pressure light also seems to be coming on around this time. when it starts to idle lower, the engine oil light is flickering at first as if 1000rpm is right on the verge, and if it goes below that the light comes on and stays on unless I rev up past about 1500.

Can anybody help me out with this issue? I'm not the smartest tool in the shed when it comes to bikes, but I have tools and basic understandings of each part, and I'm dedicated to keeping this old bike running.

I'm bettin that the air vent on your gas cap is plugged. Next time the revs start dropping try opening the gas filler.
Welcome to KZR!

So I cleaned the gas cap,  took it apart, the vent appears to be functional, not clogged, in fact right after that I started it.

It idles low and any time it drops below 1000 the oil light comes on.

What kind of oil are you using?  I recommend 15W-40 diesel engine oil for all but freezing climates.
And have you adjusted the valves?  Airbox installed and everything sealed up nice and tight?  If pods, did you rejet the carbs?

Is the fuel line or the vacuum line to the petcock kinked? Is there an inline fuel filter that could be clogged? Is the fuel line really old or cheap? If so, it could be delaminating and causing a clog.

There is an inline fuel filter, with that black fuel line that splits right after the filter and goes to the two carbs. I cant even seem to remove this line or fuel filter, as it all appears to be stuck together. I've tried removing all of this and can't seem to get it apart.

Rubber parts ages and can glue to the parts. Cut the fuel line off with a sharp cutter. Fuel lines and fuel filter are wear parts and should have to be renew regularly.

Looks like a sign to toss it and buy new.

Yes, these are expensive, but they filter much smaller particles than the cheap ones and the filter media is washable so you will not have to buy another. Whatever you do, do not get a filter with paper media designed for a pressurized system (with a fuel pump). It will quickly stop flowing.
Suzukisells fuel line in bulk. It is fairly inexpensive and high quality.

Yep I use the clear anodized type on my Z1B with the vm29 smoothbores for several years now and the filter works great. These are the best to buy!

So hey guys, I replaced fuel filter with a nice newer one, I bought new points, but unfortunately they arent fitting. My old points are in such bad shape I cant even get the bike to start anymore.
I've decided to switch to an electric ignition, but to be honest I dont know much about that. Does anybody know where I could find something like that?

Well, Kawasaki still sells the points for the 750B 3 & 4, which I bet will fit, but it is $52

I think if I was facing that choice, I would start looking for an electronic system from a 1983 or 1984 KZ750 K1 or K2 LTD.
