Sent a PM, I can certainly use that tank! Looks great compared to mine!

My other fuel problem is the petcock, it in horrible shape, not sure if it could be rebuilt. Replacements's seem pretty high, but there is an adapter nut to 3/8" NPT. Only question is what size? 7/8 or 15/16? any one know?

sadly, no longer. Bought this bike on Oahu, and took a new job in Nashville TN this January. The head had been sitting in an Oahu shop for over a year. The company paid to ship all my stuff including the bike to Nashville. Once I got here, I found a great KZ builder, and things started rolling.

Good thing Eddie came through for me. On the advice of the engine builder, I sent my tank into Moyer's restoration in PA. They came back and said it was totally shot and could not be repaired. So without the help, I'd be hopeless. Z1R tanks are not easy to find, so I can not express my appreciation enough to help save my old girl!

Shipped it today also sent you the front brake lever. the only thing I didn't find was a petcock I'm pretty sure I have an extra one. I'll keep looking

that front brake lever is a unobtanium to find if you really need one.

when i wrecked my 80 z1r i had to weld my perch back together and order a lever from japan after searching everyfreakinwhere.

seeing eddie help out hawaii_z1r kinda restores my faith in humanity .
