KZR project buildoff 2009-

allright folks we'll call it project buildoff since theyre both projects,and biker buildoff sounds gay!:laugh: anyway streetfighter needs motivation and so do i and what better way to get motivated than to have a battle of the lost in 1975 anti billet anti tech old school big inch turbo against the big inch high tech billet bitch(hey streetfighter i think i just named your project!:woohoo: )anyway up first running out of the medtronics pacemaker lane we have what began its life as humble little 74 z1 900 untill its first build as an urban assault bike with a little bitty warmed over 1197 and a bunch of spare parts.which is now somewhere along the path of becoming a retro 70s turbo dragbike with a license plate.heres the competion so far starting point for curent project

started out as a good detailing and some new tires!:woohoo:

beginning of the frame bracing

head scratching session,looks like a bigblockand a heavily breathed on big valve head

the origional swingarm idea looks too modern,so its been ditched.

this swingarm looks more like curent design idea,but will be 3" over and made from chrom moly tubing with chrom moly bracing similar to this.

basic design im going after without so much rake.

now for the evil competion,streetfighters project !
