I got this partially assembled z650B1 for $350CAD! Guy had brought it over way back when, assembled it mechanically but not electrically.

Questions:
- Can you identify this strange 4-1 exhaust?
- Why is the rear swing arm chromed?
- What is that front fender from?

Bits stolen for my KZ650C2:
- Marzocchi shocks!
- z650 Side covers
- Grab Bars
- Original Kawasaki Seat

I'm planning to do it up cafe-style because that's what the local punks seem to be into these days... Plus this one is already half-way there with no centrestand or rear fender, and with its clubman bars.

Hard to tell from that pic but that header could be made by Denco, they are one of the few makers I can think of that made a pipe that exited on the left. Reason the swingarm is chromed is because someone dipped it in a plating tank. I can't help you much with the fender looks as though someone may have chopped up a stocker. Nice buy for the money!!

Can´t help you with the swingarm, fender and exhaust, but I´d like to see frame and engine numbers. I´m pretty sure that´s actually a B2 with a B1 frontend - the alternator cover doesn´t seem to have the bolt holes for the field coil (77 B1/C1 only) and also your front mc is triangular, the B1 has a round mc.

Nice bike btw, I get this feeling of deja vu:

I hope the site co-operates with me this time...
This is a shot of the funny left side exhaust and the chrome swingarm.

Let's try this image file:

BTW the engine number matches a B1, the frame number I couldn't find.. it was blank after "KZ650B"...

The site allows 550 pixels wide by 900 pixels tall. I use IrvanView and just resize image to 550 wide and automatically sets height. Then save it to a "KZR Post" file. I like the chrome swingarm, nice plus. A little steel wool/polish and it will look great on MY bike! ;)

Another option would be to open a photobucket account.
That would let you upload a full size image and takes care of your size issue. Also it lets you post multiple images per posting.
