Just a few pictures of my project..

It's a 1977 1000 A with a 1983 J engine, Suzuki running gear, Norton tank, Yamaha tzr seat, Ducati monstert carbon head light and front mudguard, homemade triple tree and Wilbers rear shoks.. much work needed, but I'll hope to ride it in May/June.. Enjoy..

heh, wire, you thought that I had minimal ground clearance...

i just got a chill from seeing this bike, and the hairs on my arms stood up.

Nice!! Details on the front end please. Was it easy to put it on and what year of Suzi did it come form. I have to change mine out anyways, so I might as well go w/somethin w/better handling. B)

Hey Nex, that's real cool. One of the nicest modern looking cafes I've seen in a while. Nice work man!

Thank's... I appriciate all the nice responce on my ride..

The front end is from a 1998 Suzuki GSXR 600 SRAD, but it's really low now, because it needs oil and I'm proberly goin to put in WILBERS springs, these are 10% harder than standard. I had to do a new tree, to fit the front..

And to you caffcruiser, I'm looking forward to see another bastard !

Nex - is that strap running down the tank to hold it on?

Very nice ride. How much ground clearance are you going to have when you're done?

Chances are yes. ;) Though it wasn't popular with production bikes lots of cafe's ran "tank straps".

IIRC the racers ran them too to accomodate quick swapping of tanks in races.
