Who's running the big bores ???? was created by geerbangr
Who's running the big bore bikes on the street,anything under 1000 cc don't fit this category. Let's here from you guys,no turbo's,no nitrous,no blowers,none of the exotic stuff that most people can't afford or tune. Just good old big bore ground pounding kz's . Let's hear what you have pro's and con's to the big bores on the street !!!!!

yeh bored out 1100 (1175cc now) here.
hard up so no flashy turbo's or nito here,
had the bike over 16yr full details below.

as for pro's and con's none that i know of
as i havnt got it back on the road still waiting on plate and inspection.

ive run several,i always thought a bigbore was 1100 plus though!:evil: :P when i was groing up i was always taught if ya cant do it on the motor build a bigger motor which is fine to a point but sooner or later it becomes impracticle to run a big inch high compression motor with carbs on a streetbike(yeah,i know!me practicle?:woohoo: ) z1 bottem end,1197 topend.

the bike is torn apart right now,i was doing good on it till i got all pumped up doing z1 project and sons 29 ford coupe,and one of my 55 chevys and bought 2 condemned houses(but they were cheap!:sick: :P )im gonna put the 1327 bike back together as a nicely dolled up semi stock looking sleeper for cruising on saturday nights.im gonna put a set of smaller cams in and an electronic ignition to help with the grocery getter look!:evil: :evil: :P
