I painted my motorcycle body work with the Dupli-Color Paint Shop Sublime Green Pearl and Clear. It went on well and turned out really nice. I just rubbed out all of the parts and got the bike reassembled over the weekend. I am very happy with the outcome.

nice bike man! How did you get the tail on that bike?

The previous owner welded a piece of flat across the frame with threaded holes for the front tail mounts and he had a sheet metal piece underneath as a fender eliminator with a modified sport bike tail light to tie the back of the tail to the bike. I welded an end in the sheet metal to mount a cateye light I had and built a new mount for the back of the tail. Now I can both take the tail off without getting into the wiring and also can use the document tray in the tail now.

What do you know what was done with the seat pan? was it just banged out and then recovered?

KZs look so much better with a nice tail too.

The seat is a Corbin aftermarket seat that is made for a Z1, so it fits the tail fine. The previous owner modified the frame to make the Z1 style seat fit.

Nice what year I have a 82 KZ1100 and I like the duck tail on it..

The paint job turned out really good... can you post a few more pic's, when you get a chance?

The bike is a 1983 KZ1100 LTD. The previous ownner added the Z1 style tail, instruments and Corbin Seat and K&N pods and painted it blue. I added a dyna ign setup, a different exhaust that I built, went thru the carbs, redid the tail section and turnsignals and lots and lots of misc stuff plus of course the paint. Here are a few more pics of it.
