I was told to contact Buchanan wheel and spoke to get some custom spokes made. They said they just need me to measure my nipple size or distance ? Anyone have any spoke and rim experience that can explain this to me? Thanks

Sheldon Brown was "the man". His website was, and still is, a treasure trove of practical information.

The factory parts fishe has information on the spoke sizes. Failing that, remove spokes from the existing wheels and send them in to be matched. There will several different sizes in play so be sure to gather samples of each.

The only measurement I'll need at the nipple hole diameter. The rim is a 78 kz650 1.85x19 40 spoke. I wonder what the chances are of me finding this info here on the web so I don't have to tear Down my front wheel just yet. Let me know if there are any source out there you may know of
