Yes
Others have done it , but it is not a bolt on Modification

I am very curious to know more about any tail mods on these bikes. I'm not crazy about the cruiser look. I have a 77 Kz 650 also and it's done very simply with all black and straight bars. I would like my 1000 to look more like my 650. Has anyone on here done this?
