hi i am from Spain, I am changing the front fork of my kawa 1000J, I've got a fork of a GPZ1100 unitrack 83, I have not the original fork of my bike.
It is not a common bike in Spain and it is difficult discover one, so I need the measurements of the lower triple axle, especially the position of the bearings

The ZX1100 has anti-dive forks and may be a bit shorter.

I did something very similar on a 550 and ended up swapping the steering stem between the different yokes, but you might get lucky if someone here can help you with the measurements. The spindle axle to fork offset is also something to consider.

You might ed up spending more time and money on this then just sourcing a decent pair of forks to start. Try ebayUK, no import duty for us EU countries. I bought a front mudguard from Germany recently, the postage was suprisingly cheap at about 15 euro....it would cost about 10 Euro just sent in the uk.

The z1000J are quite sought after now, nearly as cool as a 1000R but half the money, another reason to think twice about modifying it maybe..

thanks for your answer, the problem is that I have not the original fork, first buy a chassis 1000J gpz1100zx then a 83 with a good engine but with a frontal blow, and folding frame, later on ebay uk buy other parts , petrol tank, seat 1000r, tail light, fenders, rocker etc zephyr 750, rear wheel 17x 4.5 "bandit and front tire, fork and brakes suzuki 750 GSXF.
Now what I need are the measures of spindle axle

Honestly, 1000J are pretty difficult to find stateside also; not too many made in total something like 15,000 between three years? I had an 81 J two years ago, shoulda kept it, it was a great bike
