+1... they have, or can get it all. I recommended calling in, I normally end up talking to rob, great Guy. You may be able to save a dollar or two on eBay, but support this company if possible. I am of the opinion that they have kept more of these kz's running in the states than anyone else.
Mine:
04 Honda rebel 250(wifes)
04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition,headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

Rear brake shoes. So, it's a 650-B2 ? If you don't know the age of the brake shoes, replace them. The adhesive that binds the linings to the shoes can fail over time, so a lining can separate & get jammed between the shoe & drum, locking the rear wheel. It happened to me, so it does happen. It's an age issue --- mine looked good. I would get oem or Vesrah (made in Japan). It has been reported that some aftermarket shoes don't fit right (ebc?).

I installed Vesrah VB-412 brake shoes. I believe all 650s w a drum brake use the same shoes. Because others had reported problems w brake squeal (different brand?), I sanded the leading edges of the shoes & also sanded the glazing off the drum --- very carefully & evenly --- no squeal.
{do not breathe the dust & do not contaminate the wheel bearings}
Lubricate the pivot points w brake caliper grease --- I use the Permatex product in the little packets.
