I think he was worried because in the first photo with you working on it, the photo is dark and it's difficult to see that you have a brace going to the middle of the upper section (from the frame to about where the seat will be). With that brace, I think it's plenty strong.

I see in his latest pictures that he kept the 3-tube backbone. There should be no problemo with that. I though he had or was going to cut the lower 2 tubes off like I have seen some folks do (bad move) leaving only the single center backbone tube. Ed

Like I said just wanted some honest opinions no hard feelings if everyone's bike was the same we all would not be talking but I do need some rear finder ideas I've got a old front finder off a 76 Harley flh I'm thinking about using I'm running a 16 in the back with a 140 tire
