Anybody got any new input on newer swingarms with mono shock setups?

I added a 2007 GSXR 600 swing arm to my 84 GPZ 750. I just had to get a sleeve made to take up the space between the pivot on the GSXR and the GPZ pivot bolt. I also added two small spacers to each side. I used a 2007 GSXR 1000 shock with the GPZ knuckle, but had to get longer links to get the ride height correct.

Thanks guys.
I didn't have any tires at that point and it was just mocked up. I have it mostly together now but still need to do a lot of paint and body work. I am actually hoping to get some electrical work done this weekend and take it out for the first time. I have a build thread here:

@bri_con
Now that's what I'm talking about!:woohoo:
I have s swinger and shock from an 07-08 gsxr600 so i'll definitely read your thread for the details if you don't mind.
Could you please make a thread on your build on this site. Also could you go more in depth on the front & rear suspension. More pics too please!
This is almost exactly what I want to do to my KZ1000 suspension wise. Thanks

really nice rims/tires! i wonder if they would fit on my 80kz1000? i bought a gs1100 swingarm and am looking for an 18in rear rim with a 150 tire and i really dont like the look of the 19in rim up front. has anyone swapped the front rim/tire with the stock forks/fender?

Not to hijack but I have a 78 650C2 with a GS1100e swingarm. I am having a hard time finding the correct wheel bearings. I know I need 20mm bearings from a 1000 but there are so many to choose from. Any idea what model KZ1000 bearings I need. I am running a stock mag wheel.

I'm actually fabbing up a hayabusa rear suspension to mine. I had Evilswingarms.com build me an arm to same specs as my busa, and that is what will go on at final assembly. I love the mono shock, cleans the side of the bike up big time! I know my swap isint bolt on, but with a steel frame who cares! lol.
