Hi,
I am putting a 1981 kz440 back together and am stumped trying to locate where a couple of the ground wires go.
They are located up in the headlight area and the only place I can think of putting them is behind the nuts of the headlight brackets inside the headlight cover. Is this the right location? I only ask because they have a lot of rubber around the bolts so not getting a sense of any real "earthing" coming from this location.

While I understand I can ground them anywhere on the frame, I would like to put the bike back to as near original as possible so am looking for their original connection locations.

Picture of the wires below:

Thanks for looking,
PS, same question was asked on the kawasaki.com forums because I have been having issues with my new account on this one.
Seems my previous posts have gone south somewhere too :)

Cheers,
Stu

Glad you sorted it, Earthing issues are a major cause of electrical problems.

I like to add an extra ground at the back for the rear lights too.
